Serialyvam: Game of Thrones S7E10

Serialyvam is excited to present our review of Game of Thrones season 7 episode 10, "The Dragon and the Wolf." This episode marks the end of the season, and boy, was it a rollercoaster of emotions! Let's get right into our review.

The Wall is the Only Thing Keeping Death at Bay

The episode starts off with a long-awaited meeting between Cersei Lannister and Daenerys Targaryen. Both women are in King's Landing to discuss the possibility of a truce to fight the army of the dead. Jon Snow, the King in the North, is also there to plead his case. Cersei initially agrees to the truce but eventually reneges, choosing to instead try and deceive her enemies. There's something so deliciously satisfying about watching Cersei scheme, even if we know that it's only going to end in more chaos.

Stop the Army of the Dead

Back in Winterfell, Sansa becomes even more suspicious of her sister Arya's motives. She starts to believe that Arya wants to kill her and steal her place as Lady of Winterfell. Meanwhile, Jon and Daenerys share a private moment on his boat as they sail off to the Wall. The chemistry between the two is palpable, and we can't help but root for them to get together. However, their reunion is cut short when the Night King attacks the Wall with his undead dragon, Viserion.

The Wall Has Fallen

The final scene of the episode is one of pure devastation. The Night King and his army march through the fallen Wall and head south towards Westeros. Viserion's newly-blue eyes add to the shock of the moment. Winter has truly come, and there's no turning back.
